The first round of nominees for the CMA awards were announced and Sugarland leads the way with 6 nods.  Coming in a close second was Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift with 4.  Fans can vote for the final nominees here through May 11th. 

The final contenders will be announced May 19th and then fans will be able to vote for the winners in each category.

The final nominees for Video of the Year will be announced on June 19th during the awards show.  Fans will even be able to vote during the live broadcast.

The 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards is a little over a week away and more performers have been announced for the show.

Miley Cyrus, Reba, Jamey Johnson, Lady Antebellum, John Rich, Lee Ann Womack will be hittin’ the stage with Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Heidi Newfield, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, and Taylor Swift.

 YESSSSSSSSSSSS… There are coming to Nevada. Primm isn’t too far and I know they will be in town for the ACM’s in April.

OH and by the way if you are in Vegas the weekend of the ACM’s there is a FREE concert downtown at Freemont Street with Pickler, Leann Rimes, and Julianne Hough… They are calling it “Divas Downtown”. 

Aren’t those three girls the same girls that announced the ACM nods?!?!??

Minus Fatty Simpson… I mean, Jessica Simpson.  AGAIN, I am kidding about her being fat, no more fat jokes.
